On 23 May at PacPrint 2017, Currie Group and HP revealed the most productive label press yet – HP Indigo 8000 Digital Press. It’s a first-of-its-kind in the ANZ region and Peacock Bros is the first to incorporate this innovative solution to its business.

“We’re always looking for ways to stay one step ahead of a very competitive market, and provide the assurance we’re a partner you can rely on. Investing in the HP Indigo 8000 Digital Press substantially expands our capacity to provide high-quality and high-volume production to our customers,” said Andrew Crump, Operations Manager at Peacock Bros.

High productivity is not the only thing that makes the HP Indigo 8000 Digital Press the crème de la crème in digital label printing. The press uses HP Indigo ElectroInk, a superior liquid with minute ink particles that can deliver high-resolution printing. Moreover, its One Shot technology allows for accurate and repeatable colour-to-colour registration, even on heat-sensitive materials. The press also supports the widest range of media in digital production including synthetic and paper substrates from 12 to 450 microns.

It is no wonder why brands such as Coca-Cola, Budweiser, P&G and Oreo are deploying HP Indigo’s proven print quality and flexible technology to respond to market challenges and stay competitive.

Eco-conscious companies would be delighted to know that the HP Indigo 8000 Digital Press is certified with the Intertek Green Leaf Mark.
